Concurrent Investment Advisors, LLC (“Concurrent”), a leading independent registered investment adviser (RIA) platform, announced the addition of Benchmark Financial Advisors, LLC (“Benchmark”), Foreman Financial (“Foreman”), and four additional advisors to its network. Together, the new partnerships represent over $1 billion in combined assets, raising Concurrent’s total AUM to over $29 billion.

Previously affiliated with another independent RIA, Benchmark Financial Advisors is led by Tim P. Miller and Stephanie Hunter. The Pennsylvania-based team brings more than $300 million in managed assets and provides comprehensive financial planning, tax-efficient strategies and portfolio management, including coordination with clients’ estate planning attorneys.

“We are excited to join Concurrent as a strategic step toward enhancing the quality and depth of our services,” said Miller. “With access to more sophisticated technology, a highly efficient operational infrastructure and the combined expertise of both organizations, we can deliver a more seamless, informed and forward-thinking experience for our clients.”

Joining from Raymond James Financial Services, Foreman Financial was founded by Kevin Foreman and brings nearly $400 million in managed assets. Their team of highly experienced client service professionals primarily serves business owners, corporate executives and retirees in the Midland, Texas area.

“When I built Foreman Financial, my goal was simple: to serve my clients with innovative, personalized financial strategies,” said Foreman. “As our clients’ needs and goals evolve, partnering with Concurrent will help us deliver on our vision to offer sophisticated, institutional-caliber services with the dedication and autonomy of a business of our own.”

Concurrent also welcomed four additional advisors representing over $300 million in AUM between September and October. From LPL, Georgia-based founder Staci Bennett joined with her firm Bennett Financial Partners. Existing Concurrent partner firms grew with the addition of Adam Morgan to Barnett Financial Group in Virginia, and Brian Stein to The Hamilton Group in Colorado. Both transitioning from other independent RIAs. Lastly, Michelle Kreda joined Michigan’s BMR Retirement Group from Wells Fargo PCG.

“It is rewarding to see advisors choose Concurrent for our collaborative culture and the depth of expertise behind it,” said Joe Mooney, Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Concurrent. “Every advisor joining our platform is building a business that is distinctly their own, and we are committed to supporting each one with resources that help them grow and remain autonomous.”
