As PCOS Becomes PMOS, SPHERE HEALTH Launches Care That Follows Women Through Every Hormonal Stage
PR Newswire
MIAMI, Oct. 1, 2026
From PCOS (now PMOS) to perimenopause and menopause, starting with the hormonal and metabolic health that underlies so much of a woman’s well-being
MIAMI, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — In May, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) was officially renamed polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), recognizing it as a whole-body hormonal and metabolic condition rather than a problem of the ovaries alone. Today SPHERE HEALTH opens early access to a virtual care platform built on that idea and on a bigger one: a woman’s hormonal health is never a single diagnosis. It moves with her through every stage of life.

PMOS affects about 1 in 8 women, more than 170 million worldwide, according to the Endocrine Society, and roughly 4 in 10 women with the condition have prediabetes or type 2 diabetes by their early forties. More than 2 million American women reach menopause every year, about 6,000 a day, according to Mayo Clinic Health System. Yet care is still organized one condition and one doctor at a time, and women start over at each new stage.
SPHERE HEALTH starts with hormonal and metabolic health because it is the wiring underneath women’s health. Hormones connect to metabolism, heart health, sleep, mood and bone strength, and they shift at every stage of a woman’s life. Getting that foundation right gives SPHERE HEALTH a clear view of the whole woman. From there, the company plans to expand into more areas of women’s health over time.
SPHERE HEALTH is built to carry her story forward. A woman may come in for PMOS, endometriosis or metabolic health, and her care continues into perimenopause and menopause. Board-certified OB-GYNs and board-certified obesity medicine physicians review her assessment, history and labs, and her record follows her from one consultation and one stage to the next. No medication is chosen in advance. Every care plan is reviewed and approved by her physician, and SPHERE HEALTH does not profit from medication.
Pricing is published up front:
- Clarity, $99 one time, introductory price: a hormone and metabolic lab panel curated to her specific care pathway, with physician review. Labs and physician review are both included.
- Continuum, $149 a month: monthly consultations, her pathway-specific lab panel, a personalized care plan and secure messaging with her physician.
- Constant, $349 a month: everything in Continuum, plus an expanded lab panel, at-home blood draws where available, and a dedicated Care Navigator.
Medication, when prescribed, is billed separately.
“Women don’t live their health one condition at a time,” said Mida Pezeshkian, PhD, MBA, Founder and CEO of SPHERE HEALTH. “Hormones touch nearly everything in a woman’s body, from her metabolism to her mood to her heart, and they change with every stage of her life. That’s why we started here. When you get her hormonal health right, you can finally see the whole picture and care for her through all of it.”
Behind each care plan is Rosalyn, the SPHERE HEALTH intelligence platform named for Nobel laureate Rosalyn Yalow, whose work made it possible to measure hormones in the blood. Rosalyn uses AI to bring a woman’s labs, history and assessment into one view and to prepare insights for her physician to review. AI organizes everything. The physician decides.
Early access opens today, starting with the SPHERE HEALTH waitlist. SPHERE HEALTH is not yet available in Hawaii or Rhode Island. Join at spherehealth.com.
