Statehouse Report Seeks Readers’ Help Identifying Fountain Photo

Charleston, SC, October 16, 2026 —

Statehouse Report, a Charleston-based publication, is asking readers to help identify a mystery photograph of a fountain. The publication has noted that the fountain is located outside South Carolina and is inviting readers to guess both its location and the restaurant associated with it.

The request is part of an ongoing feature built around reader guesses. The available information does not identify the fountain’s city or state, name the restaurant, or provide other details that would establish where the photograph was taken. The image itself is described only as a photograph of a fountain.

The feature links two questions for readers: where the fountain is located and which restaurant is associated with the site. No answer or confirmed identification was provided in the information available. It also does not state whether readers have already submitted guesses or whether the publication has set a deadline for responses.

Further details about how readers can submit their guesses were not provided. The information does not specify a response channel, a publication date for the feature, or whether the restaurant is inside or near the place where the fountain stands. It establishes only that the fountain is outside South Carolina and that readers are being asked to identify the location and associated restaurant.

As an ongoing feature, the invitation centers on audience participation rather than a disclosed identification. Until additional information is supplied, the fountain’s location and the restaurant connected to it remain unknown.
